Trips in the surroundings

The direct surroundings of Sigonce are wonderful to hike, to bike and to ride horses, as the later can be rented here. In two minutes, you will have left the village and will find yourself in the middle of fields or walking up the hills. A very nice destination, for example, is the little church of Revest Saint Martin, about four kilometers to the northwest. From there, you can hike on to the Montagne de Lure.

The abbey Notre Dame de Ganagobie

And if you leave Sigonce by heading to the southeast, you will reach the shores of the Durance or the village of Lurs by walking high up on the mountain crest that runs parallel. Lurs has become famous as a meeting point of typographers from the entire world. There are regular events in the context of the Rencontres de Lure.
Starting from Lurs, there is a wonderful hike to the abbey „Notre Dame de Ganagobie“.
